2008 Season is over bring on 2009!
Well is was a Great 2008 season With Rookie Mike MacConaghy running away with the WMRRA Rookie of the year! Mike was just a few points short of taking the Formula Ultra Championship leaving him with a great first year 2nd place finish in the class as well as 2nd place in the fast paced Open Supersport class! As you can imagine we are very pleased with Mike's year and look forwad to the 2009 season begining at the end of March. Also keep an eye out for Mike's Brother Brian who will be surely on mikes rear wheel as well as chasing the 2009 WMRRA Rookie of the year!
Joshua Ellingson also had a great year ending up with the #4 plate in his chase for the WMRRA Championship. WMRRA Class finishes were 2nd Formula Thunder, 2nd LW Superbike and 3rd MW GP Twins. Joshua Also reached one of his biggest goals a dream he had of racing at the famous Laguna Seca Raceway. finishing 18th in what will now be the last AMA Superstock Race. Quote: Laguna Seca is where it all happened for me. If you are a racer you know what I mean, there is always a point somewhere between the steet riding, track days and going to the races where you say thats it i want to be out there! 2002 Laguna Seca World Superbike and AMA double header standing at the corkscrew behind the fence with some great friends was that point for me! I want to thank everyone who ever helped me along the way it could not have been done alone...
XLSR Racing would like to thank all of our Great Sponsors and Fans on an outstanding year!
